Our Founder/Director

Pamela Brewster resides in Upstate, SC with her wonderful husband Sammy Brewster. A mother of two and grandmother of three, Pamela believes that being a mother has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her life and her greatest accomplishment has been raising her children to love God. 

Many students have been recipients of her caring and nurturing spirit in her positions as a children’s church worker, Director of Vanguard Theatre ministry, Director of Vanguard Youth Ministry, Director of the Northside Child Development Center, Director of Loving Care Academy and In-School Suspension Coordinator for Gable Middle School. 

Pamela always encourages her students to have a positive outlook on life and pursue their dreams.

A Love for the Arts

As a first grader at Pine Street Elementary School, Pamela remembers participating in the school’s annual Christmas production. It was there, while performing in the “Singing Christmas Tree,” that God birthed a dream and a love for theatre in her heart. From there, Pamela became actively involved with community theater groups, where her love of the theatrical arts continued to grow and develop. During those formative years, she enjoyed acting, singing, dancing, and modeling! Pamela has fond memories of being cast as the lead performer in several productions.

Writing and directing as a ministry unto the lord

After graduating from Spartanburg High School, Pamela began performing in various theatrical church productions. It was at Vanguard Community church, where she and her husband Sammy are members, that her “gifts” as a theatrical performing artist, a writer and a director were recognized. When Pamela was appointed to serve as Director of Vanguard’s theatre ministry, the group begin performing plays she had written; some of which also included original songs, written by Pamela as well.

While serving as Director for Vanguard’s Theatre Ministry, Pamela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre degree from Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C. After receiving her degree, Pamela desired to create a place where she could continue to pursue her passion of expressing THE FATHER’S LOVE through the gifts HE has so graciously given her; a place where she can live her God-given dreams with hopes of inspiring others to live theirs.

Open Doors

Now that the doors are open, Just Excellent Productions, LLC will serve the Upstate and surrounding areas by providing creative experiences for individuals who desire to expand their artistic knowledge and theatrical abilities. As we aspire to be a place where dreams come to life, we will always aim to provide excellence in theatre!
