Girl Scouts
This program, designed just for you, is an excellent way for you to gain the education and hands on experience needed to earn your badges while having a great time.
Troup Performer
Performance is a powerful way to make an impact on an audience –and a perfect way to put your leadership into action. It’s also a fun way to sharpen your communication skills, learn to handle stress with grace, strengthen your teamwork skills, and grow relationships and networks. Get out there and show your stuff!
Public Speaker
They call it stage presence: the ability to be yourself and make a connection with people – and seem comfortable the entire time. And a great presenters’ talent for conveying their points clearly and powerfully is useful everywhere, not just in politics or on the stage. Luckily, you don’t have to be born with these skills; you can develop them. In this badge, start the process!
Screenwriter
When it thrills, makes you laugh, or has a fantastic twist, a movie or TV show can seem like magic. And a great show starts with a great script! Screenwriters write scripts meant to be filmed. In this badge, put all your viewing experience to good use- let it inspire you as you try your hand at writing for the big (or small) screen.
Dancer
Do your feet start to tap when you hear a great song? Get ready to jump up and move to the beat in this badge. You’ll learn fun warm-ups, perform steps from new dances, and make a dance of your very own.
Textile Worker
When you see all the colors and textures of fabrics and yarns, do you dream up a million things to do with them? Get ready to turn those visions into reality earn this badge when you meet with artists, learn about the world of textile arts, and make two projects in the craft that most inspires you to pick up your needles (or loom or spinning wheel).
Woodworker
Woodworking gives you a feeling of accomplishment – you can make stylish, useful things for yourself and others. Plus, it’s fun. In this badge, add to your talents with a skill Girl Scouts have been refining for 100 years – the ability to do it yourself. You’ll develop or refine your skills with a hammer, saw and level, and complete the badge by creating a fantastic and unique wooden piece of your own design.
